After
a long dry spell, we are very pleased to announce the next Autoclave
release: Calamateur
vs. Steve Lawson is exactly what is sounds like, a collaboration
between regular Autoclave artist Calamateur
and hugely acclaimed solo-bassist Steve
Lawson. This will be a download only album available through itunes,
emusic, et al. It will be out in a few weeks and you can read more about
it here.

As you can probably tell, we've been having a bit of a refit over
here at the Autoclave website. Hopefully things are clearer, brighter
and altogether lovelier for you.
There
are several new releases on the way by bands old and new. More news
on that soon....

Things have been a little quiet on the recording
and release front for a while, but that doesn't mean nothing is going
on.
Calamateur/Andrew
Howie has been recording away in the upper reaches of Scotland for some
time now, and what the label has heard, the label really likes. Andrew
has also got new management and is playing live far more than he used
to. Catch him if you can. Recorded music will be available to buy in shops
and/or download before too much longer.
Andrew
has also been approached to score an original movie. The film tells the
story of a man unraveling in the wake of his wife's death. Shooting begins
in Philadelphia at the end of March.
Mark
Russell of Oldsolar is somewhere in America, and looks set to play a solo
show in New York in early April.
Bob
Massey and his Gena Rowlands Band have just announced that the soundtrack
to the 2003 opera "The Nitrate Hymnal" is being released on
Lujo Records. Our congratulations to everyone involved; you should buy
this record
